Ernesto Fuentes has been a missionary since 1968. Ernesto and Olga have 3 sons and 3 grandchildren. Ernesto’s oldest son, Abdiel, is a Captain/Chaplain in the United States Army and just finished serving his second tour in Iraq. He is married to Mayerling and has 3 children. Esly received his Medical degree in 2010 and is heading up the Clinic in Biznaga and will be responsible for the medical responsibilities at the Senior Home at the camp. Arely received his bachelors degree in Christian Counseling from Central Christian College. He is married to Gloria and they are currently living in Cincinnati while he pursues his masters degree from Cincinnati Bible Seminary.

God used Ernesto to start two Bible Colleges in Mexico, the first opened in 1974. From those two schools Mexico now has more than 300 new preachers. Ernesto has written and published several books and Bible School curriculum for use in Christian education. Over the past 8 years the Fuentes have expanded their ministry to also include overseeing 9 churches in Mexico, 2 new churches in the United States, and 60 home churches in Cuba. God has also opened opportunities for them to preach in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. They were also chosen to lead very successful national conventions for men, women and youth, setting record attendance and providing innovative programs.

In addition to the leading, teaching, preaching and writing mentioned above, the Fuentes currently operate and oversee a camp/retreat center, a medical and dental clinic, and a child sponsorship program. The newest addition to their ministry is a Senior Home which is also located on the retreat property.

The Fuentes started their ministry in the intercity of Saltillo, and have now expanded it throughout Mexico, the Caribbean, and into the United States. The name of their ministry, World Wide Hispanic Outreach, explains exactly what their focus is; to reach out to their brothers and sisters for Christ.
